Childcare Safety VR
Childcare Safety VR is an innovative virtual reality application designed to train users in identifying and managing hazards in a childcare centre. This immersive experience guides users through a realistic scenario where they use a virtual camera to record potential hazards, such as leftover toys that may pose safety risks. Following this, users engage in sorting these toys into categories: clean, dirty, and broken. This hands-on approach not only helps users develop critical skills in maintaining a safe and hygienic environment but also reinforces the importance of thorough and systematic cleanup practices. Childcare Safety VR provides a practical, engaging way to ensure that childcare professionals can effectively manage and mitigate safety hazards in their workspace.
I was responsible for development of the application’s hazard camera system and assisted in the overall development through bug fixing and consultation.
